May 2023
May’s winner was Diane Cox who sewed a sweet baby keepsake version of the Digger Dachshund sewwing pattern. I love the embroidered ears with the baby’s birth stats – very clever! You can put birth stats or other messages on any large piece of a Funky Friends Factory pattern. I’d love to see embroidery of the long side piece of this pattern some time. June 2023
This month’s winner Joy Davies. Joy sewed Larry LION in the lion print from Tula Pink’s Everglow fabric line. She had some extra fabric, so she used my cat toys pattern to make a mouse and goldfish. I’m sure this “big cat” will appreciate the gesture! To see ALL the June 2023 finalists, CLICK HERE:

July 2023
July’s winner was Denise Erskine, who created an incredibly unique keepsake: this Prince Charming Frog began life as a military combat jacket. That’s a perfect combination of a fabric that fits the animal’s coloring, as well as a sentimental fabric fitting the fairy tale story of the character. Diana Sageser sewed this Ben BEGINNER teddy bear for her stepdaughter-in-law’s fourth little boy. She found that the baby onesie fit perfectly on the tummy piece. Ben the Beginner Bear is designed with a single, no-seam tummy to fit clothing designs like this onesie. The striped fabric is a hospital receiving blanket.
