I’m so excited, my little baby Dragon Toy Sewing pattern is ready! I am so pleased with him… after all the years I spent mulling over him… he’s finally materialized into something
spiky BUT sweet!
He’s just learnt to crawl – bless!
Just wait till his wings grow big enough for him to fly, he’ll be into
E – V – E – R – Y – T – H – I – N – G!!!!
You could hardly be scared of this little fellow although he HAS got a bit of a temper and has started to breathe a few sparks when he gets cross!
The pattern has LOTS of pieces so I wouldn’t say it is NOT a good pattern for beginners, BUT there are no complicated stitches, so it is not difficult to make, it just takes a little longer to make all his dragony – bits and pieces!!!
AND finally he has a name!
I have decided to call him…..
Diggles
– because he has the cutest striped tummy and if you turn him over and tickle him,
he GIGGLES!!!! 🙂
And IF you are wondering who WON the Pattern Prize for naming the PINK girly Dragon….. it was Karan Murray. She suggested the cutest name for her – Dweezle‘!!!

On Diggles, the pattern and instructions DO NOT SHOW EXACTLY WHERE TO POSITION THE ARMS AND LEGS!!!
PLEASE send instructions on exactly WHERE to position them. This should be marked on the pattern pieces, but it is not. Thank you
Hi Janeen, I double checked and the words “arm position” and “leg position” are on the BODY PIECE. I also added a dotted outline of the arms and legs to help you see which way to position them. Please check the BODY PIECE for these. If the pattern isn’t printing correctly for you – please use the contact form to get in touch so we can help trouble shoot that for you (I check the blog comments less often, so you’ll get a quicker answer that way!)😁
