The secret’s out – the ‘factory’ has moved!
My house has been bursting at the seams with all my Funky Friends paraphernalia stored in every spare nook, and my sewing room has become so full I could hardly get inside let alone sew in comfort! So when I popped in to visit Sally from Happilyeverartist.com in her new shop and she innocently asked me, “Why don’t you join us?”….
How could I say NO?
So let me show you what I have been up to!
It’s been a busy couple of weeks!
The NEW Funky Friends Factory shop is in the Old Petrie Town which is a quaint historical village (gotta watch out as I always have the urge to say HYSTERICAL village!) which is part of the North Pine Country Park. My shop will be in one end of an old reclaimed church building.
Taking the BIG STEP to move into a shop was the EASY part, setting up shop was the HARD slog – but painting 8am – 9pm at night is FUN when you’re excited!!!
Did you spot the sexy painter dude?
This is Laura, my ‘next-shop neighbour’ taking the photo of me after my marathon painting session…I am exhausted but ECSTATIC. (relieved the painting’s done?) Laura’s store is called BillyAngel and if you’re into everything pink, girly and vintage – this shop will feel like heaven for you!
Now, I’m sure you’ll probably think that it STILL looks like I am overflowing, BUT I wanted to remember the mayhem!!!
BEFORE…
and AFTER !
There’s lots more to do, BUT I am happy to say, the Funky Friends Factory Shop is NOW officially…
