When Jill from East Coast Fabrics asked if I could fill in with a softie sewing class in the September Holidays because her quilt teacher was away, I jumped at the chance to do a sewing class as I haven’t done one in ages!
Here you can see us starting on out Plattie Platypus pattern, cutting out the sewing pattern, cutting out the fabric for out softies, pinning, sewing …
and chatting!
🙂
Then , I taught the ladies how to stuff their softies,
slow and firm!!!
I always end off by saying….. “And NOW your Funky Friend is ready to LOVE!” One of the ladies took this to heart and gave HER Plattie Platypus
a great BIG kiss!
I was so pleased with how the toys turned out. How cute do the finished softies look together?
A PARTY of PLATYPUSES!
Each toy is different but ALL so cute !
….. and here are the happy softie sewers!!!!!!
THANKS ladies!
I had great fun teaching you how I make soft toys and I can’t wait to see your next Funky Friend!
If you know of somewhere you’d like to see me do a Soft Toy Sewing Class, please use the Contact Us Page to let me know!
Who knows? I could be seen in a sewing shop near YOU!
. .
Till next time…
Happy Sewing,
Pauline
