Is Bigpond too BIG to care about the smaller fish in the POND????

Dear Bigpond customers! 🤗

I am writing this blog post so I don’t have to re-write this information for every one of my customers and Club members who are also Bigpond customers and have NOT been receiving my emails because Bigpond has decided to block them – EVEN THOUGH they WANT TO RECEIVE my emails – because they have purchased a PDF Pattern Download from me or are in my Sew Many Funky Friends Club!

Grrr!$@!^#%*!

 

 

Don’t get me wrong…

I was a very satisfied

Bigpond customer for 12 years

WITHOUT any problems…

 

Email is great when it works, but when an email service provider like Bigpond blocks emails from getting through to their customers…. it’s incredibly frustrating for the sender and receiver AND it seems there’s not much you can do about it?

I wrote a blog post earlier this year about what you can do to make sure emails get through to you. I would start with that first…

BUT when all else fails it’s TIME TO SWITCH EMAIL PROVIDERS!

Sorry, Bigpond, but if you don’t respect our wishes to send and receive emails to each other we’re going to have to leave and go to another service provider.

OK, if you only have a Bigpond email addess – you need to start by getting another email address…

This is EASY!!!

 

You can get a FREE email address from Gmail.

I highly recommend Gmail because I have been using it for over 10 years and I really find it easy to use and also good for being able to whitelist (and block) emails depending on WHAT I WANT TO RECEIVE! 🙂

I found this video that I sent to my Club Member so she could get a Gmail email address. She updated her email details to the new Gmail email address and immediately she was back on track – receiving all the Club emails from me again! HOORAY!!!!

    Hi Pauline, I had this problem for ths first time this year and I wondered what has changed? Thanks for explaining and helping us all rectify this problem.

      Hey Lizzy, glad I could help! Email service providers make changes ALL the time…. without letting us (their clients) know!?! 🙄

    I bought the Ellie Elephant pattern and I got the PayPal receipt immediately but I noticed the odd thing was that I didn’t get the usual order confirmation email. I checked my junk folder and it’s wasn’t there either. Not an issue for me as I just logged in and downloaded the pattern from my account on the Funky Friends website. Now I’ve read this – it explains what happened! Many thanks
