We’re celebrating the NEXT intake of our FUNKY FRIENDS Club by opening the Club up to everyone for a FUN NEW LIVE SEW-ALONG!

The second LIVE CALL was a whirlwind of
terrific teddy-making techniques ~>

I wanted to show how versatile a simple teddy bear pattern can be. I had so many different ideas I whizzed through them all and got sooooooooo excited!!!:)

 

 

Look how cute the basic Calico Bear Signature Bear Pattern looks as a Birthday Bear. This is a fabulous memento for any birthday not just a 21st. You can get everyone at the party to sign your special bear instead of a guest book.

 

Then we turned the basic Calico Bear Signature Bear Pattern into a Wedding Bear with a cute veil and some fabric flowers.

 

 

Then we made her the man (oops teddy bear) of her dreams as the Groom bear with a cute bow-tie. Another great idea is to make a memento of your special day using the wedding dress and groom’s outfit too.

 

After that we had a Christmas Bear! I had a go at cutting some ivy leaves and added some glitter pom-poms for a cute Christmas Teddy Bear.

 

And last but not least, I made a mortar board for a Graduation Bear!

I’ll be talking about interfacing, embroidering keepsakes (memory bears) and I’ll show you how easy it is to resize the pattern so sew a smaller, Mini Keepsake Bear and how to enlarge the pattern so sew an extra large, Maxi Keepsake Bear!
