Six Months of Softies, COME join the FUN with ME!!!!

Aug 8, 2013 | Blog, NEW Toy Patterns

I’m so excited – it’s my turn to create the final stuffed animal pattern design for the Six Months of Softies Club!

Yeeeehar!!!

softies-6

I was inspired by the birds we saw on our weekend away at the sea side… and decided to make a Seagull pattern.

Meet Sandy the Seagull!

Seagull - finished softie - red

I’m sure you’re going to love Sandy the Seagull. He is a fun-loving, friendly fellow who loves long walks on the beach.

You can make Sandy a traditional white, but seagulls remind me of all the yummy things you eat on a beach-side holiday like sticky fairy floss, melting ice-creams and fresh fish and chips so I decided to make him out of fabric covered in ice-creams, cakes and donuts!

I think of seagulls with yellow legs but I looked in a bird book and MOST of the ones in Australia have red legs! So I made a yellow and a red-legged seagull for you to see.

I wonder what colour legs you will make for Sandy?

There’s only one month left to join the club!

So it’s not too late for you to jump in!

As soon as you sign up you’ll get an email with a link to access all the Seagull Soft Toy Pattern right away AND because this is the 6th and final pattern you’ll also have a link to access the other 5 month’s patterns too – so you’ll have to ration them to one a month! Ha ha  🙂

Six Months of Softies for ONLY $50

You can visit the Six Months of Softies Page for more info about all the toy designers who’s patterns you’ll receive in the club.

Sandy is so cute. That’s my sister’s name! I think she would love him for Christmas. I would make yellow legs.
