I can’t believe it’s Cheeky CHOOK’s birthday and she’s turning TEN!!<\/h2>\n

This is how she has been seen on the pattern for the LAST TEN YEARS <\/strong>but I wanted to show you what she originally looked like back in 2001<\/strong>, so I’ve scanned in some of my original sketches<\/strong> and early photographs<\/strong> of Cheeky from way back then so you can see how MUCH she has changed…<\/p>\n

AND NOW… In honour of Cheeky Chook’s 10th birthday, Prince Charming and I decided it was time for Cheeky Chook to get a whole new look!<\/strong><\/p>\n

*** I EVEN revamped the pattern so that Cheeky
\ncan now be made with quilting cottons!
\n(originally she was only suitable for stretchy fabrics like fleece!)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Then we set about finding some funky fabrics for her new updated birthday look! We tried EVERYTHING…. and we just were so disappointed… nothing looked totally awesome!<\/p>\n

We both thought that Cheeky Chook just looked so dull and lifeless… : (<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Jodie, of twomonkeysfabricshop<\/a>,\u00a0 one of the latest Funky Friends factory Pattern stockists<\/a><\/strong> posted HER version of Cheeky Chook<\/strong> on facebook in some of her fabulous fabrics<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

…and\u00a0 Prince Charming and I BOTH\u00a0 fell in LOVE with Chook’s NEW LOOK!<\/strong><\/p>\n
