I have finally convinced my husband to let me indulge myself and get a NEW cat….<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nnot a soft toy cat, a REAL one!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve been trying for ages to make one, seemingly without too much success – ha!ha!<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

BUT, we went to dinner last night with friends who put doubts in my mind…<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

You see… we go camping whenever we get a chance, and , although we haven’t managed to go much lately (with life being so busy!) …we have 2 lovely dogs, that we take camping with us, whenever we can!<\/p>\n

You wouldn’t believe it, looking at THIS pic,<\/strong><\/p>\n

but…<\/strong>
\nI don’t like to camp!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/strong>(well, NOT quite as desperately as my hubby does!!!!)<\/p>\n

\"Taking<\/p>\n

I do it more for HIM as he relaxes THAT way, (I prefer to relax sewing!!!!!)<\/strong> and the dogs LOVE it! Anyway,my friend said, “WHY do you want a cat? WHAT will the cat do for you that your dogs don’t?”<\/strong><\/p>\n

What I told her just seemed silly?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I said,\u00a0 “I haven’t had one for so long – and I KNOW it’s irrational, my doggies are so sweet, BUT I just LOVE cats!” If you’re a “CAT person, you’ll understand what I mean when I say this – Cats make MY heart purr!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

My last kitty dies over 12 years ago, and I finally feel ready to love another kitty<\/p>\n

Having thought a bit more about it – the idea seems a bit LESS silly?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Something good appears to have come out of me being in such excruciating pain <\/strong>(from an acute ear ache) for the last 5 weeks<\/strong>! It has actually made me ‘rethink life’ a bit<\/strong>… I realise that you have to make a conscious choice to STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES<\/strong>, get off the roller coaster of life and slow things down a little.
\nI want<\/strong> to stop rushing from day to day<\/strong>, (they’re disappearing faster than I ever expected!) and I want to make sure I spend as much time enjoying the moment<\/strong>, NOT hanging out for tomorrow! AND I want to do MORE of the things that bring me joy – NOW –\u00a0 not put them off<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

…until tomorrow,<\/strong><\/p>\n

…until we have the money,<\/strong><\/p>\n

…until we have the time,<\/strong><\/p>\n

…until,<\/strong><\/p>\n

…until,<\/strong><\/p>\n

until…\u00a0 NEVER???<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, before I start to\u00a0 get TOO DEEP…<\/p>\n

SHOULD I or SHOULDN’T I GET A CAT???<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong> Whether or NOT you are a cat person – you’ll love this – it’s my favourite cat video of ALL TIME! I have had it saved on my computer for years and it makes me laugh EVERY TIME I watch it!<\/strong><\/p>\n
