I spent a fabulous ‘chilled out’<\/strong> afternoon doing a Plattie Platypus<\/strong><\/a> toy-making workshop<\/strong> this last weekend at the Urban Sewing Lounge<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"LindaTucked away on a leafy East Brisbane Street, Linda’s enclosed, sunny balcony has been turned into a sewer’s paradise with more sewing machines, haberdashery and lovely quilted fabric goodies than I could dream of!<\/p>\n

What a wonderful place to spend a crafty afternoon!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

to spend a WHOLE LOT more time<\/strong><\/p>\n

in\u00a0 Linda’s Sewing Lounge<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\nIt\u2019s just a beautiful, cosy, comfortable space!<\/strong> : ) <\/strong><\/p>\n

Linda teaches basic sewing skills<\/strong> as well as offering a variety of classes in patchwork<\/strong>, fabric gifts<\/strong>, handbags<\/strong>, home decor<\/strong> and more. Her classes are small (maximum of 5 per class) so you all will get lots of Linda\u2019s undivided attention!<\/p>\n

Mums will be pleased to hear that she also offers After School Sewing and School Holiday Classes!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I must say a big thanks to the lovely ladies who came along as part of the Saviours of the Lost Arts porgram<\/strong><\/a>, and to Kylie and Cloud<\/strong> from VoodooRabbit.com<\/strong>, who were also organizing the workshop too AND managing our stall at the Racecourse Road Carnival<\/strong> on the same day!<\/p>\n
