It was dark, cold and WAY to early on a winter’s morning<\/strong>, when I set off to set up my stall at the\u00a0 BrisStyle Indie Designers <\/strong><\/a>Racecourse Road <\/strong><\/a><\/strong>Market<\/strong>, this last weekend. It’s a long drive across town for me and\u00a0 and I left one teeny tiny, BUT critical piece of equipment behind – my screw driver for assembling my pattern display stand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Grrrrrrr #%@^%$!!!<\/p>\n

ANYWAY,\u00a0 trying to be a ‘glass-half-FULL’ kinda gal<\/strong>, I decided that if I couldn’t diplay my OWN crafty wares, I’d\u00a0 look at everyone else’s!<\/p>\n

AND just look at what I found!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This beautiful bracelet<\/strong> made by Sally Sepherd<\/strong> of happilyeverartsist.com<\/strong> took my fancy so I asked Sally to let me try it on, and what do you know, it just WOULDN”T COME OFF!!! : ) <\/strong><\/p>\n

I was also excited to hear that Sally has opened a studio at the Old Petrie Town markets<\/a>,<\/strong> as this is just around the corner from me. BUT, this may NOT be such a good thing for my wallet as I LOVE all her beautiful beads!!! <\/strong>She did say that down the track there may be jewellery-making classes <\/strong>on offer, and I have always wanted to try this … so can’t wait for that!<\/p>\n

And then I found this gorgeous
\nOwl softie!!! <\/strong><\/h2>\n

And having such a soft spot for plush toys, how could I resist such a cutie?
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Rod<\/p>\n

This adorable owl softie<\/strong> was made by another lovely Brisstyler – Natalie Cotter<\/strong> and her mum, of Rod n Lil fame<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0 who mostly make reversible Pinafores<\/strong>, Bloomers<\/strong>,\u00a0 and Hats<\/strong>. I am so glad they decided to do something with the offcuts from cutting out their gorgeous kiddies clothes, because that’s how their toys came to be!<\/p>\n

I think I may have to do some Christmas shopping<\/strong> at the next few Brisstyle markets<\/strong> –<\/p>\n
