I have always been inspired by my parents. My FATHER<\/strong> was a mathematics lecturer, then a primary school headmaster and has written FUN maths books for children with my mum’s cute illustrations. My ‘artsy-crafty’ MOTHER<\/strong> has inspired me from a very young age with her many crafty endeavours and her support of anything crafty I put my hand too… and now it’s her turn to shine!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

My mum who is turning 70 next year, <\/strong>is STILL such an incredible inspiration! <\/strong>She has just had her<\/strong> BOOK published<\/strong> on STAR-gazing<\/strong> with Binoculars for Beginners<\/strong>! AND she has even got her book up online… eventhough she STILL ONLY has Dial Up Internet Connection<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

I am sooooo impressed!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

I saw the book in progress when I went to visit mum and Dad in South Africa a couple of years back, and I was embarrassed because I knew verrrrry little about the stars before that! I learnt that the stars ACTUALLY rise and set in the night sky, like the sun does in the day sky!<\/p>\n

DON’T LAUGH at ME if YOU knew that!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

(I guess I just hadn’t thought about it! NOW I’m fascinated by the incredible things I can see in the sky at night!\u00a0 – THANKS Mum!)<\/strong><\/p>\n
