It’s been a long time since I designed Anu the Elephant,<\/strong> my first Fair Trade toy pattern<\/strong> for Blue Mango India<\/strong><\/a>. It was back in 2009, so we are all feeling…<\/p>\n

What an honour\/priviledge\/treat<\/strong> this is, for me to go to India and meet Tamar and Bruce and ALL the lovely Bluemango ladies<\/strong> who have been making these toys!<\/p>\n

\nNOW I have to admit – it is a little scary<\/strong> knowing I am going to have to come up with some lovely new designs for them in the space of the 3 weeks I will be there, but Tamar has said the ladies will help me sew up the proto types so please keep fingers crossed that the inspirations comes!!!! : )<\/p>\n

I would LOVE to hear from you<\/strong> – I don’t think they want particularly cute and cuddly toys… I dunno – so please let me know what YOU think would make a brilliant Fair Trade Toy design<\/strong>….<\/p>\n
