It’s TRUE! I got to be a guinea pig for the Voodoo Rabbit Circle Skirt Class<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although I design soft toy sewing patterns I have very little experience sewing my own clothes<\/strong>. I guess it has always just been more fun for me to sew my softies<\/strong> than anything PRACTICAL like clothing, but I have always said ~><\/p>\n

Don’t knock it\u00a0 – till you’ve tried it!<\/h1>\n

So when Kylie of Voodoo Rabbit<\/strong> fame asked me to be her guinea pig to test out her Circle Skirt Class<\/strong> I was keen to give it a go.<\/p>\n

For Kylie, it was a chance to practice her teaching skills and for me it was a chance to be on the receiving end of a new sewing pattern! Oooh, I hope I can follow pattern instructions – haha!!!! : )<\/strong><\/p>\n

Poor Kylie –\u00a0 she didn’t know that I was ALWAYS the naughty kid in the class<\/strong>
\nand it seems<\/p>\n

I was so excited to see my circle skirt coming together so easily! WOW – sewing your own clothes is actually FUN!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kylie was so calm and patient, guiding me every step of the way while she made her own circle skirt in this amazing SKULL fabric – Hula Skull Black by Alexander Henry<\/a><\/p>\n

I even got to learn how to fit an invisible zipper! <\/strong>So cool, and very easy when someone shows you how to! I’m NOT a real girly twirly kinda girl – but HOW COOL does this skirt twirl????<\/p>\n
