This September School holiday I will be running a School Holiday Softie Sewing Day<\/strong> at The Lime Zone<\/strong><\/a> in Clayfield Brisbane. WHAT FUN!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Come and sew a softie!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Not only will you learn valuable skills, you\u2019ll get to make something cute for yourself or for a lucky friend or family member! The class is suitable for ages 9 \u2013 14.<\/strong> This will be a hand sewn project so anyone can join. NO SEWING MACHINE REQUIRED! <\/strong>(Students with sewing machine skills will able to make the soft toy by machine at home once they learn the basics of softies.)<\/p>\n

\"HolidayWe\u2019ll be sewing one Kawai Kutie and you have a choice between Kawaii Teddy Bear or Kawaii Bunny Softie sewing pattern.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These Kuties make a great first project for beginner students with no sewing experience<\/strong>. The day will be jam-packed with fun tricks and tips <\/strong>to teach you every skill you\u2019ll need to sew your softie. Students will be introduced to the basics of soft toy making like fabric selection and materials to use. They will be shown how to cut out fabric shapes, how to stitch softies including how to sew curves and sew faces, how to turn and fill their softie, how to sew up the stuffing hole and (my favourite bit) how to add fun embellishments with buttons and felt.<\/p>\n

All materials and equipment will be supplied<\/strong>. You\u2019ll have a great selection of fabrics to choose from to create your own unique toy!<\/p>\n
