Let&#8217;s give it a go!!!<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"padding: 0px 10px; margin: 30px 10px; border: solid 2px #b41e8e; color: #000000; text-align: left;\">\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">STEP 1<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">You will make the arms and legs for Reggie Reindeer EXACTLY as you would for the button-jointed version.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">* Unfortunately, I didn&#8217;t have the fake fur for Reggie&#8217;s boots when I did this tutorial so I just left the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">FUR PIECE<\/span> out and sewed the\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">LEG PIECES<\/span> to the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">BOOT PIECES<\/span>. This made the legs about half an inch shorter, BUT he didn&#8217;t seem to mind? \ud83d\ude00<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16683 aligncenter\" style=\"border: 1px solid #a8a5a9; padding: 4px; margin-top: 30px; margin-bottom: 30px;\" title=\"Reindeer-arms-and-legs\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.funkyfriendsfactory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Turn-arms-and-legs.jpg\" alt=\"Reindeer arms and legs\" width=\"468\" height=\"351\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">The pattern instructions will tell you to stuff the arms and legs and sew the stuffing openings closed&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">DON&#8217;T DO IT!!!!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">Well, don&#8217;t do it <strong>NOW<\/strong>. You will do this <strong>AFTER<\/strong> the reindeer is all sewn together!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote style=\"padding: 0px 10px; margin: 30px 10px; border: solid 2px #b41e8e; color: #000000; text-align: left;\">\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">STEP 2<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Mark up the TUMMY PIECES with some pattern markings so you can see where to attach the arms and legs. This is so simple &#8211; all you need is a ruler and a fabric\/permanent marker pen. Make sure that the top of the arms stick out a little bit past the edge of the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">TUMMY PIECES<\/span>. I push the hooves right up inside his head (it&#8217;s ok he is very flexible!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">Pin the tops of the legs to the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">TUMMY PIECES<\/span>, between the pattern markings you drew, on each side. Make sure that the top of the legs stick out a little bit past the edge of the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">TUMMY PIECES<\/span> , just like you did with the arms.
