Last year I set up the AustralianSewingPattern.com<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, a collective of Australian designers so we could band together and get to the the\u00a0Australian Quilt Market in Melbourne<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. This year I was joined by Michelle Long of Lemon Jellie Stitches<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

A.Q.M is a cool place to catch up with other designers like Nicole Mallalieu<\/strong> (You Sew Girl)<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Tammy<\/strong> Green<\/strong> (Buddies Corner and Studio T Green!<\/strong><\/span><\/a>) Jodie<\/strong> Carleton<\/strong> (Vintage Ric Rac<\/span><\/a><\/span>) <\/strong>and\u00a0 Emma Jean Jansen<\/strong><\/span><\/a>…<\/p>\n

And I got to meet one of Australia’s most respected softie designers, and someone I have been in awe of for many years, Melanie McNiece<\/strong> of Melly & Me<\/strong><\/span><\/a>!\u00a0 Her softies are sooooooooooooooo cute and<\/p>\n

she is just THE nicest person too!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

After 4 fun-filled days in Melbourne it was time to go home…<\/p>\n
