I got a lovely message from Karen Devonshire\u200e who made this gorgeous version of my Puppy Pete Dog toy pattern<\/span><\/strong><\/a> for her grandson. She thought he turned out rather cute and I agree!<\/p>\n

She recycled a pre-loved ladies blouse that she bought from the local St Vinnies store (for $6) to make her Puppy Pete. This must be so much better for the planet than buying a manufactured toy, I think Karen was thinking of her grandson’s future and she made a charitable donation in the process too!<\/p>\n

I love how she says, “He started from meagre beginnings”. Who would have thought this shirt would make such an adorable Puppy Pete? \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

It’s amazing what you can make from your old clothes…. a little imagination… oh, AND a Funky Friends Factory toy sewing pattern<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, of course!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
