I love highlighting indie designers… especially when they are old friends of mine… or should I say people I’ve been friends with for a long time LOL! <\/span><\/p>\n

I have known Jodie\u00a0Carleton<\/strong><\/span><\/a> of Ric Rac<\/strong> since we met back in 2007 at the Melbourne Stitches and Craft Show. Jodie is actually a school librarian who has been blogging and designing soft toys like me for many years! Now she is designing fabric under the Ella Blue Fabrics label –<\/p>\n

I think my\u00a0 Ellie Elephant toy pattern<\/span><\/a><\/strong> looks fantastic in Jodie’s fabrics and I LOVE Jodie’s quirky sense of humour too. Not only is this reflected in the cute designs but also in the names she gives her fabrics. The fabric in the photo above is called PHANTY BUBBLES<\/strong>!<\/p>\n
