What fabric should I use\/not use for a Tilly?<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Tilly Tortoise Toy Pattern<\/strong><\/span><\/a> can be sewn out of MOST fabrics including quilting cottons. The testers made her in all sorts of fun fabrics – from fluffy Cuddle to denim and ‘pleather’\/non-leather fabrics. Here you can see <\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0Paula Blevins<\/strong> sewed this sweet pink Tilly Tortoise from fleece and Cuddle – she looks like she’s wearing a fluffy jacket!\ud83e\udde1<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t use THICK<\/span><\/p>\n

or VERY FLUFFY fabric<\/span><\/p>\n

Elizabeth<\/b> Percival<\/b> of Dolli-mixtures Keepsakes<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span> sewed Tilly Tortoise<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span> as a keepsake toy. She used a shirt and denim<\/span>. This is a wonderful way to repurpose old jeans but denim is thick and not an easy fabric for beginners.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
