Yeehar! I have some exciting news! My NEW Best Wishes BABY BIRD toy pattern is ready for testing!🥳

 

What SIZE is the finished bird?

The finished Best Wishes BABY BIRD toy is 23cm/9 inches tall (like Maximus Mouse!) For scale, here is a photo of me with 2 Baby Birds!🩵💗

 

AND here he is hanging out with some of the Funky Friends Factory Bears – Melody Memory Bear and Ben the BEGINNER Bear. So he’s a fair bit smaller than a memory bear BUT he has lots of space for adding embroidery and other embellishments.

 

Best Wishes BABY BIRD has LOTS of cool features!😎

• He is an unjointed, sturdy ‘sitting toy’ designed for playtime, memory toys or even decor!
• He’s a ‘quick finish’ as there’s no hand sewing on his face.
• No visible hand sewing: stuffing gap hidden on base!
• His “no-seam” tummy has a 5 inch / 12.7cm grid marked for easy centering of embroidery.
• He has cute floppy wings with a 3inch/7.6cm grid marked for initials, names or dates.

OK, so how does TESTING work?

You don’t have to be a very experienced sewer or even a brilliant toy-maker. You can test the pattern even if you have NEVER sewn a toy before!

ANYONE can be

a Tester ~>

BUT, you need to be FREE in the next WEEK!!!

 

We have a

**DEADLINE!**

You need to be able to sew up the toy and send in the photographs by the deadline date – 27th January, 2026 (In YOUR time zone!)

 

You will need to BUY the pattern first & sew a Best Wishes BABY BIRD:

This is so you can answer the Feedback Survey questions AND send in photos of your finished toy. Once your feedback and photos are received ~> you’ll receive a Tester’s THANK YOU VOUCHER* so you can get another Funky Friends Factory pattern for FREE! (* The voucher MUST be used within 30 days on ANY existing Funky Friends Factory pattern.)

STEP 3:
Send in your photos by the same deadline date… please read the important info about photos needed in the box below ~>

 

Please submit 2 to 4 photos meeting the following simple criteria:

1. More than one angle (ex. Front, side, left and right!)
2. Use natural light, outside if possible or next to a window (morning/evening light works BEST!)
3. Use a non-distracting backdrop for indoor photos (on a plain chair or table top, a blank wall.)
