Yeeeehar!!!!It’s time to reveal the 13 WINNERS of our #Funky13000 contest!🥳

What’s the occasion? We’re celebrating reaching 13000 members in our Funky Friends Factory Pattern Fan Club with a competition. The  first  round-up of EARLY ENTRIES was such fun, so I thought you’d also like a part TWO!

First up, we have some happy recipients (of Funky Friends toys)!

Rocio Zuniga used the Dynamite Donkey soft toy pattern to make these two memorial toys. Her granddaughter looks so pleased with her TWO Funky Friends!😍

Angela Southward got lots of smiles after sewing up this sparkly Kelsey Keepsake Unicorn in shades of pink and purple. Kelsey the Keepsake Unicorn is a sure bet if you’re hoping for a happy gift recipient.

Anessa Bock was able to fulfill a special request from her nephew using the Aristotle Axolotl pattern. The request was for a “natural colors” axolotl that also incorporated clothes from his late grandmother (see the accent fabrics on the toy). Great job, Anessa!

This is such a sweet photo. Kim Weigel made a replica teddy for her husband to resemble his childhood bear. She used Ben the BEGINNER Memory Bear pattern for this special project.

 

 

Sharon Emmons selected Ben the BEGINNER Bear to sew for her new great grandson’s monthly photos. Here you can see the baby posing at month 2 with his new friend.

 

 

Even big kids like opening a teddy on Christmas morning. Here’s a photo of a Ben the BEGINNER Bear sewn by Lori Switzer Londini.

 

 

What a wonderful armful of gifts! This is Dixie Ball’s son holding some of her creations, including a Ben the BEGINNER Bear in the front.

Sue Nanney made this little boy very happy by sewing a Melody Memory Bear from his baby clothes. Melody has pieces of various sizes to help show off multiple fabrics and create a patchwork effect.

When you need to make a grandpa bear, it’s Buttons the BEST DRESSED Bear pattern to the rescue! Buttons was designed with built-in clothing options suitable for all types of grandpa style, from casual to dressy. Laura Pheasey made this precious memory bear for her daughter using her late grandpa’s clothes.

Raylene Von Allemann Stols sewed a Kip Keepsake Dog for this child using his grandmother’s clothes. This memory toy is further personalized with text on the foot pads and the dog bone tag, which is included in the pattern.

Edna Ann sewed a Sock the SITTING Cat keepsake for this young woman using her grandmother’s clothes. Edna also embroidered a custom signature on the toy for an extra sweet touch.

Lesley Wolley noted that her nephew loves his Joey Junior Kangaroo, which was made as a keepsake from his grandmother’s jumper.

Here’s an extra special photo of a family gathering of Funky Friends Factory gifts! Sharon Emmons left a cute caption on her photo explaining the meaning of the 7 Sue Squirrels she gave her granddaughters.

Emily Elizabeth Christian must have won some “special aunt” points when she sewed this Oscar Otter for her nephew. The otter matches the Notre Dame university school colors.

Here’s an entry that’s both cute and clever. Ruby Almond used the Bumble the Bee pattern to make a “spelling bee” award for her school. The bee is made from the same fabric as the school uniform. Here’s the lucky winner with the bee!

Sherry Eggert Bristol submitted this extra happy photo of three girls enjoying their new Silly Scrap Snakes. Sherry wrote that the snakes were make extra long by including the body segments a few extra times.

What a sweet photo! Laura Oppelt sewed the Ellie the Elephant soft toy pattern for this little girl named Eleanor. Ellie’s pink inner ear fabric matches Eleanor’s spring dress, and I’m sure Eleanor was happy they coordinated.

Abby Garrison entered this photo of her daughter and Diggles Dragon in the contest. Abby added that her family is obsessed with Harry Potter, so she was excited to sew this toy (in Harry Potter fabric, no less) when her daughter asked for a dragon stuffed animal.

Robin McColley’s kitty gave a quick nose boop to the Best Wishes Baby Bird that she sewed. Looks like the kitty won’t be chasing this bird anytime soon.

Joy Davies’ handsome, well-groomed real dachshund seems confused to be meeting his alter ego in the form of the beautiful long-haired Digger Dachshund soft toy that Joy sewed. I bet they’re fast friends now.
