Naming Competition – suggest a name for my Grandson Bear pattern!

Aug 17, 2026 | Blog, Competitions & Giveaways

Yeehar ~ we’re having a Naming Competition!🥳🏆

So many people have suggested that I design a GRANDSON Teddy Bear to go with the NEW Gracie GRANDDAUGHTER Bear.

Gracie is a sweet little teddy bear in a dress, bloomers and head bow –  SO I did a survey to find out what clothing items everyone wanted me to include for a little boy bear!

And the results were very clear!

One of the options was a clear winner – OVER 75% wanted one particular option! 🤓

Want to WIN the Grandson Teddy Bear pattern?🏆

If the name you suggested is selected ~>

you’ll win a free copy of the new pattern! *

* WHEN it is released!!!

How to enter the Naming Competition:

It’s EASY! Leave a comment below with your suggestion for a name for the new Grandson Teddy Bear pattern. It can be a unisex / boy’s OR girl’s name…

There is  ONLY 1 rule ~>

It must start
with the letter ‘G’
(for Grandson!)

I can’t wait to hear your name suggestions now!

Till next time,

Grady would go well with Gracie. Apparently it means “noble” and we’d want him to be chivalrous with his (little) sister… Also, per Google: “Often associated with an approachable, friendly, rugged, and outdoorsy character.” The first three would definitely match with a teddy bear and if he’s going to get overalls he’ll be equipped for outdoor activities!

Not sure if my vote has registered!! Sorry if this shows up twice!

Grayson, Gregory or George go well with Grandson & pair perfectly with Gracie Granddaughter imho!

I saw that Grayson was already mentioned, but that’s the name that I’d go with. Goes with Gracie and similar to Grandson.

I think either Garth, or Gibe would be nice, both are short and sweet and go well with Gracie..😁

Similar to a couple of other ideas, my suggestion is Gabriel or Gabe. My sister’s first grandson’s name!
